Had my motor 2 weeks, covered 1,100 miles and the car seems to have developed a rough idle.BMW direct injection engines have a degree of valve overlap (egr) resulting in exhaust gas and evaporated engine oil coagulates at the intake valves decreasing dynamic compression (torque). - Rough idle - Sluggish performance - High fuel consumption If your ride experience any of these issues - it may be time to decarbonise the intake valves.My car is a 2011 BMW 328XI with only 42,000 kms. Then everything works itself out and the car runs great. Now engine shakes for 1st 10 to 15 seconds with RPM rising and falling. I never had rough idle on start up until after BMW preformed recall #2017-470 Engine PCV blow-by-heater.
